Meet the Artist

Beena McMahan is the artist behind BeenzM Creative.  She's always enjoyed drawing and painting and making cards and gifts for loved ones.  She pursued an unrelated career path for almost 20 years, and began receiving commission requests after making portraits for a fundraiser.  This prompted her to seriously consider art as a career. She began making colored pencil artwork and then expanded into larger scale paintings and murals.

Conveying a story is the common thread between her past work in the legal field and her artwork . Art can tell a story by honoring a loved one, memorializing a special moment, or inspiring a mood.  Her original artwork is inspired by finding beauty in the ordinary and in God’s creation.

She is based near St. Louis, Missouri, and travels within the local St. Charles County and St. Louis County areas for onsite mural work.  She also ships nonmural commissions, original art, and fine art prints nationwide.
